Where To Get Vaccinated

Routine and recommended vaccinations are an important way to ensure that your family and community remain healthy and protected against serious diseases which are preventable. Information provided is for all routine and recommended vaccines throughout the lifespan including COVID-19 and flu.

Which vaccines do I need?

The CDC has vaccination schedules to find out which vaccines are recommended for both children and adults. You can also ask your health care provider or pharmacist. Click below to access the 2023 immunization schedules now available.

Where do I go to get vaccinated?

Your regular doctor is the first place to go for catching up on both routine and recommended vaccinations. Required and recommended vaccinations may also be available at your local pharmacy. Call 2-1-1 or visit the 211LA website to locate a community clinic in your area offering the vaccines you need.

 

Visit a Community Clinic

Community clinics are a great resource for assisting residents and families to get caught up on their vaccinations. Many of these clinics offer low-cost and no-cost vaccinations along with other needed health services regardless of immigration status. Call to locate a community clinic near you.

 

Visit a Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Clinic

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has health centers where vaccinations are available at low cost or no cost. Click here for a directory of community health centers offering vaccinations for both children and adults. 

What if I am homebound and need assistance getting vaccinated?

For COVID-19 vaccines and boosters:
If you or someone you know is home-bound or have difficulty leaving the home safely to get vaccinated against COVID-19, you can request an in-home vaccination. Self-referrals and referrals from churches, organizations, agencies, providers, caregivers, family members, and loved ones are all welcome. Please call Public Health at 833-540-0473 (8:00am-8:30pm, 7 days a week). You can also dial 2-1-1 to request an in-home vaccination over the phone. Multiple languages are available.

The Los Angeles County Aging and Disabilities Department has a Disability Information and Access Line. Call 888-677-1199 (Monday-Friday) to request assistance with scheduling vaccination appointments for COVID-19 and other recommended and routine vaccinations.
