International HPV Vaccination Awareness Day

HPV Awareness Day is recognized worldwide on March 4, 2023. Its main goal is to educate the general public about the steps to take to effectively prevent the spread of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). HPV vaccination is cancer prevention. When given at the recommended ages, this vaccine can prevent more than 90% of HPV cancers.

Call to Action:

More than 75% of US parents have chosen to protect their children from HPV cancer with the HPV vaccine. Share the HPV vaccine resources below with your parent and community networks over social media. To schedule HPV vaccination, call 2-1-1 LA or visit 211la.org for an immunization site near you.
