ICLAC Partnering for Vaccine Equity (PAVE) Grant Summary
Between June-July 2024, ICLAC partnered with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, community-based clinics, universities, non-profits, and faith-based organizations to host seven vaccine and health events throughout South Los Angeles. Nine Community Health Workers (CHWs) supported ICLAC to achieve the following:

August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM). Together, we can help raise awareness about the importance of vaccination and encourage people to talk to a healthcare provider they trust about staying up to date on their vaccinations. Click here to read more!

Free Vaccine Clinic: School Readiness for Kids and COVID-19 for All Ages
August 19th, 2024, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm PT, LA County Department of Public Health is partnering with LA County Library to provide FREE School Readiness Vaccines for Kids and COVID-19 Vaccines for all ages. Health insurance is not required but will be requested if insured. Click here for more!
Visit ICLAC’s Where to Get Vaccinated page to learn which routine and recommended vaccines are needed for you or a family member, how to find a vaccination clinic near you, or how to request in-home vaccination. Information provided is for all routine and recommended vaccines throughout the lifespan, including COVID-19 and flu.

On July 17, the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security launched the Tackling Rumors and Understanding & Strengthening Trust (TRUST) in Public Health website to support professionals.
