Community Outreach
Community outreach and engagement is key to ICLACs mission of fostering collaborative efforts to prevent vaccine preventable diseases. Specifically, ICLAC partners with organizations and providers to promote vaccine access, accurate immunization information and other social support. This section highlights ongoing community outreach efforts. ICLAC obtains grants through a variety of entities to further facilitate community engagement and collaboration. Partnering for Vaccine Equity (PAVE)
Project Summary Report
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Vaccine Preventable Disease Control Program partnered with the Immunization Coalition of Los Angeles County to implement the Partnering for Vaccine Equity (PAVE) grant funded by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). Initiatives aimed to improve vaccine access and awareness among older adults in South Los Angeles.
