HPV Awareness Day is recognized worldwide on March 4, 2023. Its main goal is to
educate the general public about the steps to take to effectively prevent the spread of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). HPV vaccination is cancer prevention. When given at the recommended ages, this vaccine can prevent more than 90% of HPV cancers.
